Siding options

Premium Vinyl Siding.

Our most-installed material. Factory-colored, UV-stable, and dimensionally stable — modern vinyl is a different product than the vinyl of 20 years ago.

What you need to know.

Vinyl siding is the baseline for most South Jersey homes — not because it is the cheapest option (though it typically is), but because modern vinyl formulations have closed most of the quality gap with higher-tier materials while keeping maintenance down to effectively zero. Factory-applied color goes all the way through the vinyl, so scratches do not show. UV stabilizers prevent the chalky fade that killed cheaper vinyl in the 1990s.

What people love: no painting, no sealing, no annual maintenance, strong wind-rating options for coastal and exposed walls, and a manufacturer limited material warranty. What people sometimes outgrow: homes where you want a crisper architectural look — HardiePlank or SmartSide give a tighter shadow line.

Who this is for

  • Suburban homes where no-maintenance is the top priority.
  • Projects where the budget needs to go to the best possible tear-off and insulation rather than premium siding material.
  • Houses with wind exposure — modern vinyl is rated to very high wind speeds when installed with the correct nailing pattern.

Not for

  • Historic or architecturally detailed homes where you want a crisper shadow line — go HardiePlank or SmartSide.
  • Homes where you plan to repaint to a different color in 10 years — vinyl is not paintable; HardiePlank and SmartSide are.

Material and method

What makes it different.

Impact-grade formulations.

Our vinyl is rated for impact — modern vinyl holds up to hail, debris, and the occasional lawn-mower-kicked rock in a way the brittle vinyl of 20 years ago did not.

Insulated backing option.

Many vinyl projects include insulated siding (fanfold or foam-backed) — a performance tier up from standard vinyl, with better R-value and a thicker visual profile that reads more like a wood plank.

Factory-colored, through-thickness.

Color goes all the way through. Scratches do not show. Fade is uniform across the whole wall rather than streaky.

Written protection

Warranty.

  • Manufacturer's limited material warranty — terms vary by product line and are shown to you in writing.
  • SJCC workmanship warranty on installation, house-wrap, flashing, and all disturbed interior/exterior finishes — the exact term is printed in your contract.
  • Specific warranty against fade, chalking, and impact — in writing on the contract.

What affects the cost.

Vinyl is our most economical material. Your written quote includes full tear-off, house-wrap, flashing, J-channels, and standard trim details. Wall area, trim complexity, openings, access, and an insulated-vinyl upgrade shape the final number.
