Siding Financing in South Jersey

Yes, you can finance your siding project — but here is our rule: you always see the full project price before any monthly figure. A monthly payment without the total beside it is how contractors hide expensive jobs. At SJCC, the written proposal total comes first; financing is simply one way to pay it.

Total price first, monthly payment second

Every proposal we write shows the complete line-item price for your job — tear-off, repairs, wrap, flashing, siding, trim, cleanup. If you choose to finance, the lender turns that same number into monthly payments over a set term, plus the cost of credit. We will never lead with “payments as low as” and we do not mark up the project price for financed jobs VERIFY: lender program rules.

Who is the lender?

We work with a third-party home improvement lender. Until our program agreement and approved promotional wording are final, the details stay as placeholders: VERIFY: lender name + approved promotional wording. When published, this section will name the lender, link their disclosures, and show their approved terms — nothing paraphrased.

How applying works

  1. You get your written proposal first. Full price, line by line, whether or not you finance.
  2. You apply on the lender’s secure site. We send you the link; the application is between you and the lender. We never collect your Social Security number on our website — if any contractor’s own site asks for it, walk away.
  3. The lender gives you written terms. Rate, term, monthly payment, total of payments. Those numbers come from them under federal Truth in Lending rules VERIFY Reg Z disclosures with lender.
  4. You decide. Financing is an option, not a requirement. Cash, check or financing — the project price is the same.

What financing does not change

Financing changes how you pay, not what you get or what it costs. The scope is identical: full tear-off, open-wall photo review, housewrap, flashing at every opening, the written workmanship warranty. The project price is identical whether you write a check or finance. And our advice is identical too: if the monthly payment only works at a very long term, tell us — sometimes phasing the job (siding this year, gutters next) is the smarter move, and we will say so even though it means a smaller contract.

What a financing example looks like

When the lender program is finalized, we will publish a worked example here in this exact structure. The figures below are placeholders — we do not invent rates:

Illustrative structure only — not an offer of credit:

  • Total project price: [VERIFY: SJCC price book v1]
  • Amount financed: [VERIFY: lender terms]

Common questions about paying for siding

Does applying affect the project schedule? No. We schedule your job from the signed proposal, and lender approval typically comes back quickly through their portal VERIFY: lender approval timeline. Can you pay part cash and finance the rest? Usually yes — the lender sets those rules, not us VERIFY: lender terms. Is there a penalty for paying off early? That depends entirely on the loan product; it will be stated in the lender’s written terms, and we will point you to the exact line before you sign VERIFY: lender terms.
